Official Game Rules.
Show Respect to Everyone
This rule is practically self explanatory, show respect and everyone should show it back. This includes any sign of harassment such as threatening, making fun of sexuality or religion, racism, verbal abuse and using sexual actions towards another etc. (butt swinging over someone will be taken as a serious offense). Please take action in respecting other peoples views and opinions within the game. If you feel as if you don't want to associate yourself with someone within the game, there is always a block button, I insist you use this as your primary action towards others that you may not like. If you feel as if someone is breaking this rule, and disrespecting you greatly, please report to the staff with proof, and the situation will be taken care of immediately. This applies to every age and under no circumstance should we find this rule being abused.
No Cussing
In Consideration that we like to keep this game age appropriate, we only allow few cusses such as "ass", "arse" and "piss". All names need to be appropriate, if not, the account will be removed. If you are using an excessive amount of these swears, and abusing this privilege, chances are you will be kicked/banned. If this rule becomes a concern to the community, it is most likely to be removed. Censoring words are still considered a cuss and will not be tolerated. If you witness someone breaking this rule, please report to the staff with a screenshot.
Respect The Communities Property
"What's mine is *NOT* yours". Any type of claiming and/or stealing another's property is not tolerated. Which means if you did not make something, then do not claim it unless it is a public map used for RP. Though, you may use someone else's work if you have followed the exceptions below:
- The proper owner of the product has given you permission either directly, or has allowed public use of their creation.
- You have given proper credit to the owner by writing it where you may have used it.
As mentioned above, there does happen to be a block button, if you feel as if someone is refusing to respect your property in game, or is being quite rude, we ask you to block them instead of starting any avoidable drama within the game. If the breaking of this rule occurs and there is proof upon it, please bring it up to the staff of EF, and we can assure you it will be taken care of accordingly.
Respect The Staff of EF
The Staff are here to help make the community a friendly and safe place to hang out. We are not here to restrict your freedom, but only to tend to any questions and/or needs you may have. If you are caught impersonating a MOD or Admin you will receive a serious warning and after that, it will count as threatening and be given a strict ban. Under no circumstance should you disrespect a MOD or Admin for whatever reason. Under very rare cases, if you feel a MOD has made a bad decision report to an admin with proof, and we will be able to sort it out. If you disobey the simple warnings of a MOD or Admin then they will be forced to take action. The staff are people just like you, we are not robots nor can we be on every second of the day, though, we try hard to get back to you as soon as we can. Please show the utmost respect for MODs and Admins for they are just doing their job, and this game would not be available if they were not here.
No Stealing Usernames of the Community and Staff
It's plain and simple, we do not tolerate people copying other's names directly, or even with slight difference. Copying someone can make them upset, it's stealing plain and simple. Copying the design of someone's character is also a crime. Now we're not going to ban you for having similar characters, but if you copy the look to where people start mistaking you for that person, then we may have a problem. Be creative, and create your own amazing creation, not copy someone else's. WARNING: If you are caught impersonating staff's characters, in-game or out, you will be promtly removed.
No Spamming or Caps Abuse
Sending more than 3-5 messages at once in a short period of time IS considered spamming and will result in a warning/kick, and if continued, a short ban will take place. Caps are allowed of course but not to the point where you are using an extensive amount. If you need to express that you're angry or your voice is raised, add a "!" as an alternative to caps.
Keep your information safe
The staff are not responsible for your account, if anything were to happen to it, such as a friend going onto your account and getting you banned, then that is your fault. You are responsible for your password and personal information, if you choose to give it out, that is your fault and there is nothing we can do about it, for we do not have proof. We ask that you only have 3 accounts at most mainly because staff cannot keep track of your accounts, especially if it is not being used for a valid reason. If we notice that you are not using your accounts then they may be deleted after a warning.
Absolutely No Hacking
This involves the changing of any files that may affect the actual game, or hacking the passwords of the site, staff and/or members of the community. This is a very serious offense to the EF staff. If you are caught threatening, joking about it, or actually proceeding in doing it, then the staff will be forced to take action, and if the proof is found valid, you will be banned immediately. If the suspicions rise even more then your account will have a high risk of being removed permanently. If a rare mistake were to take place that you were not hacking and have actual proof then you are to message an Admin and you will most likely be unbanned.
In-Game Discussion on Bans/kicks are not to be discussed!
We don't want it discussed for various reasons; one, because then you have to bring others into business that isn't theirs, and two, instead of ranting about it to the public, why not take it to the people who sentenced you. Again, if you have a problem with actions, or are unclear as to what YOU did to get punished, then simply ask a moderator, or an Admin if you feel a MOD can't help you.
